Estudios Demográficos y Urbanos is an academic journal dedicated to analyzing and reflecting on population, urban, and environmental issues in Latin America. The publication is an important forum for discussion in its areas of specialization, from a social science perspective and with a focus on Mexico. The journal’s articles are subject to a double-blind review by a minimum of two peers, and are freely accessible online. Its predecessor is the journal Demografía y Economía, founded in 1967 (included in the Previous section).
