Estudios Demográficos y Urbanos is an academic journal dedicated to analyzing and reflecting on population, urban, and environmental issues in Latin America. Since its creation, in 1986, the publication is an important forum for discussion in its areas of specialization, from a social science perspective and with a focus on Mexico. It is published continuously and in open access, in PDF, HTML, audio, Kindle and Epub formats. The journal’s articles are subject to a double-blind review by a minimum of two peers. IIts predecessor is the journal Demografía y Economía, founded in 1967 (its collection is also included).
