Abstract
El Colegio de México, through the Center for Demographic, Urban and Environmental Studies (CEDUA), organized a Celebration of the trajectory of Manuel Ángel Castillo. The tribute was held in the Alfonso Reyes Hall of the institution, on April 5, 2022. Gustavo Garza (Interdisciplinary Studies Program, Colmex), Martha Rojas (El Colegio de la Frontera Sur), Jéssica Nájera (CEDUA, Colmex), Leticia Argüelles (assistant editor of Estudios Demográficos y Urbanos, CEDUA, Colmex), Silvia Giorguli (president of El Colegio de México), María Isabel Castillo (wife of the honoree) and, finally, Manuel Ángel Castillo, who spoke a few words of gratitude. The event was organized and moderated by Landy Sánchez (director of CEDUA).
