Tribute to Martha Schteingart’s Career

Abstract

To recognize Dr. Martha Schteingart’s outstanding career in research and teaching, the Center for Demographic, Urban and Environmental Studies (CEDUA) of El Colegio de México organized a tribute, which was accompanied by the presentation of her anthology, entitled Desarrollo urbano-ambiental, políticas sociales y vivienda. Treinta y cinco años de investigación. The event was held on March 3, 2016, in the Alfonso Reyes Hall of El Colegio de México. President of El Colegio Silvia Giorguli, CEDUA researchers Gustavo Garza, Clara Salazar, Vicente Ugalde and José Luis Lezama took the floor. Director of the center Jaime Sobrino served as moderator.
